| History
The practice of Marais Müller resulted
from a 1982 merger of two prominent law firms, the first
of which was established in 1945.
May 2001 saw the incorporation of Apollos &
Associates into Marais Müller.
Judge (then Mr) N J Yekiso was the first black
attorney to be admitted in Cape Town. He commenced practising
for his own account in 1979. When he was appointed as
a Judge of the High Court, the practices of Marais Müller
and N J Yekiso & Associates were merged during 2003
into Marais Müller Yekiso.
Marais Müller Yekiso has branches in Tygervalley,
Cape Town, Kuils River and Stellenbosch.
We may call ourselves a BEE undertaking, but,
more importantly, have converted the practice from an
innermost conviction.
