Esje De Wet
Esje grew up in Cape Town and matriculated at Jan Van Riebeeck High School. She obtained a BMus. degree at the University of Cape Town and a LLB degree at the University of Stellenbosch. She was admitted as an attorney during 1997 and as a conveyancer during 1999. She specialises in conveyancing and collections and also manages a collections call centre.
Having been a practising attorney since 1999, Peter Truter specialises in transfers, bond registrations and is a Notary Public. He further specialises in banking law, insolvency law and also handles commercial matters. He has earned a great deal of trial experience in Magistrate, Regional and High Court proceedings. Merlinn James Titus
Merlinn James Titus graduated from the Stellenbosch University with a BCom LLB degree. He commenced his articles with Marais Muller Hendricks (Kuils River) during 2011 and was admitted as an attorney in 2013 and a conveyancer in 2014. In September 2015 Merlinn moved from the Kuils River office to the Tygervalley office where he expanded his practice from commercial contracts, road transport matters, administrative law, general litigation & conveyancing to include foreclosures and National Credit Act matters. Merlinn also specialises in assisting clients with urgent matters such as land invasions and urgent interdicts.
Robert Stewart obtained a LLB degree and an Advanced Diploma in Labour law at the University of Johannesburg. He was admitted as an attorney in 2010. He specialises in legal collections and further manages a collections call centre.
Jacobus Christiaan De Wet Du Plessis
De Wet has been in legal practice since 1990. His fields of practice are dispute resolution, litigation, arbitration, mediation, civil, commercial and criminal fields. He also offers service in the liquor law field. His historic professional experience includes the following: admitted attorney since 1994, commissioner at the Small Claims court since 2011, accredited Arbitrator since 2000, advocate at the Cape Bar, public prosecutor in Magistrate’s – and Regional courts, military law officer in SANDF.
Tobie De Wet
Reaching admission as an attorney in 1981, following graduation of his B.comm and LLB degrees at the University of Stellenbosch, Tobie De Wet went on to become a partner of Marais Muller in 1984. He has developed a profound expertise in litigation, specialising in the commercial and insolvency arenas.
